The Admissions Committee of the faculty gives serious consideration to all candidates with the potential to meet the rigorous academic requirements of a typically demanding curriculum. Qualified candidates typically have earned an undergraduate degree from an approved college or university in the United States, Canada or a recognized international institution. St. Matthew's University will give consideration for admission to an applicant who has earned 90 or more college semester credit hours.
We recognize that since medicine focuses on patient centered care, an understanding of literature, art, history, ethics and philosophy is an asset to a physician. Science and Humanities are not mutually exclusive and both are viewed as necessary for the practice of medicine. It is strongly recommended that students be computer literate.
